claude.ai connects to AdLoop Cloud only (remote connectors can’t reach a server on your laptop). A connector you add is available in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps. The Free plan allows one custom connector; on Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds it for the organization (checked 2026-10-10). For the self-hosted edition, use Claude Code or Cursor.

Open connector settings
Free, Pro and Max: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. Team and Enterprise: Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web.

Add the AdLoop endpoint

Authorize
claude.ai redirects you to AdLoop’s consent page, where you sign in with your AdLoop Cloud account and approve the connection. No API key is pasted anywhere; the connector uses OAuth.

Verify
Ask Claude: “Run the AdLoop health check.” You should see your GA4 and Ads connection status.
After an AdLoop update
claude.ai (and with it Claude Desktop and the mobile apps) remembers AdLoop’s tool list from when you connected it. When AdLoop adds tools, they only show up after a refresh: open Settings → Connectors → AdLoop and refresh the connector. Until then Claude may say a tool “isn’t exposed in this session”. The same applies after you add a toolset or an integration such as Reddit Ads. Not sure whether yours is current? Ask: “Run the AdLoop health check.” It lists the tools AdLoop offers you and says so when your app is showing an older list.Notes
- Connector access is workspace-wide for your tenant. Per-key restrictions (read-only, toolsets, client scoping) apply to API-key connections; the OAuth connector uses your tenant’s full configuration.
- Every write still goes through the preview and confirm flow, regardless of client.
