# More clients

> Cline, Warp, JetBrains Junie, JetBrains AI Assistant, and any other MCP client.

Any client that can add a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP works with AdLoop Cloud. It needs two things:

* **URL:** `https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp`
* **Sign-in:** either OAuth (the client discovers AdLoop's sign-in by itself and opens the consent page), or the header `Authorization: Bearer alc_YOUR_KEY` with a key from **Settings → API keys** in the [dashboard](https://getadloop.com).

The setups below were checked on 2026-10-10.

## Cline

Open the **MCP Servers** icon → **Remote Servers**, enter `adloop` and the URL, choose **Streamable HTTP** and click **Add Server**. Then click **Authenticate** to sign in. Or with an API key in `cline_mcp_settings.json`:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "adloop": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
      "url": "https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer alc_YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}
```

Keep `"type": "streamableHttp"`: without it Cline assumes the older SSE transport.

## Warp

**Settings → Agents → MCP servers → + Add** → *Streamable HTTP or SSE Server (URL)*, and paste:

```json theme={null}
{
  "adloop": {
    "url": "https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp"
  }
}
```

Warp opens the sign-in in your browser when the server starts. For Warp's cloud agents, which can't sign in through a browser, add the API key instead: `"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer alc_YOUR_KEY" }`.

## JetBrains Junie

Add AdLoop to `~/.junie/mcp/mcp.json` (all projects) or `.junie/mcp/mcp.json` (one project), or under **Tools → Junie → MCP Settings**:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "adloop": {
      "url": "https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

Run `/mcp`, choose AdLoop and **Authorize** to sign in in your browser. AdLoop shows as *Active* once connected.

## JetBrains AI Assistant

**Settings → Tools → AI Assistant → Model Context Protocol (MCP) → Add**, and paste:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "adloop": {
      "url": "https://mcp.getadloop.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer alc_YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}
```

The *Status* column shows whether AdLoop is connected; click it to see the tools.

## Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop uses the connectors of your Claude account, so set AdLoop up once as described in [claude.ai](/connect/claude-ai). The local `claude_desktop_config.json` is for servers on your own machine and isn't needed.

## Your client isn't listed?

If it supports remote MCP servers, use the URL and one of the two sign-ins above. Then ask: *"Run the AdLoop health check."* If sign-in fails, try the API key header; if the client only supports local (stdio) servers, use the [self-hosted edition](/quickstart/self-hosted) instead.

<Tip>
  **Your AI can read these docs too.** Add `https://docs.getadloop.com/mcp` as an additional MCP server and your assistant can search this documentation while it works: setup answers, troubleshooting, and tool guidance on demand.
